The Senior Manager, Operations Excellence — Site Lead will play a critical role in driving operational execution stability, Turnaround Time (TAT) improvement, and workflow maturity development within Military Engines Sustainment Global Depot Operations at the West Palm Beach (WPB) Depot. This role will focus on leading Continuous Improvement (CI), readiness engineering operations, and digital tool adoption while ensuring disciplined readiness practices across Gates 1–4 in a low-volume, highly complex Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) environment. This position requires up to 25% travel and will support WPB and other CONUS Depot Sites.
What You Will Do:
Lead Continuous Improvement (CI) initiatives and CORE deployment to enhance operational efficiency and execution stability.
Drive readiness engineering operations and workflow maturity development across depot sites.
Ensure disciplined readiness practices across Gates 1–4 to improve execution predictability.
Implement and oversee digital tool adoption for operational improvements.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate operational risks impacting TAT and stability.
Provide structured governance to strengthen operational processes and readiness practices.
Support geographically dispersed teams and ensure alignment across multiple levels of the organization.
Monitor and report on operational performance, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
What You Will Learn:
How to mature readiness engineering practices and execution models across a low‑volume, highly complex MRO environment
Advanced application of digital tools (SAP, Solumina, Power BI) to drive operational insights and workflow stability
Techniques for leading CORE events, TAT reduction efforts, and cross‑functional CI initiatives

Methods for identifying and eliminating execution bottlenecks using data analytics
How to influence site leadership, engineering, quality, and supply chain stakeholders to drive alignment and change
Approaches for deploying simplification strategies to improve stability and predictability
How to support and align multiple CONUS depot sites while maintaining WPB site leadership responsibility
Qualifications You Must Have:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, or related technical field required.
A minimum of 10 years of Operations or MRO environment experience or minimum of 7 years of the same experience with Advanced degree.
5+ years of experience in operations, CI/Lean, MRO, manufacturing, or engineering leadership.
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
Qualifications We Prefer:
Master’s degree in Engineering, Operations, Business, or related field.
Experience in military or commercial MRO or aerospace sustainment.
Lean Six Sigma or CORE certification (Green Belt, Champion, Practitioner, or higher).
Experience implementing digital CI toolsets or analytics platforms.
Proficiency in SAP and experience with Solumina workflows and discrepancy management.

The salary range for this role is 132,400 USD - 251,600 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
