Responsibilities:
Execute facility engineering projects effectively by applying sound engineering principles, technical expertise, and industry best practices.
Ensure compliance with applicable company policies, procedures, quality standards, and regulatory requirements. Drive the quality and effectiveness of major projects through robust design practices, proactive risk assessment, and well-defined contingency plans.
Assess potential impacts associated with design changes, including defects and failure modes, and implement appropriate mitigation strategies to protect operational continuity, product quality, and business performance.
Support and deliver high-impact engineering projects aligned with business objectives. Maintain accountability for project scope, schedule, cost controls, and financial performance while providing accurate, timely, and transparent project updates to stakeholders.
Support facility and utility expansion, upgrade, and renovation projects throughout the project lifecycle, including scope development, planning, design, execution, turnover, and operational readiness.
Provide technical leadership and guidance in facility and utility design, including HVAC systems, cleanroom classifications, and clean utilities. Ensure engineering solutions align with business needs, operational requirements, quality standards, and current Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP) expectations.
Prioritize and manage competing demands by translating customer and business needs into clearly defined project scopes. Incorporate emerging technologies, industry trends, and continuous improvement opportunities into engineering strategies and solutions.
Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation packages, support audit-readiness initiatives, and present clear, accurate, and well-organized information during regulatory inspections and audits.
•Bachelor's degree in Engineering (or related field) + 2 years of relevant work experience OR Technical degree + 2 years of relevant work experience OR equivalent work experience in this discipline
Preferred Qualifications
BS Engineering Degree in Biomedical, Chemical or Mechanical is highly desirable.
1+ years of experience in Large Capital Projects and Facility Upgrades, specializing in Clean Utility and HVAC Design is highly desirable.
GMP experience in Pharmaceutical or Medical Device industry highly desirable.
Experience with the following software is desirable: AutoCAD, Microsoft Project, Microsoft Excel, Maximo, Revit.
