ServiceNow ITAM Developer

Role: ServiceNow ITAM Developer/Consultant
Experience Required - 4+ Years
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, configure, and support ServiceNow ITAM solutions.
Implement and enhance ServiceNow Hardware Asset Management (HAM) and Software Asset Management (SAM) modules.
Configure asset lifecycle processes including procurement, receiving, allocation, transfers, maintenance, and retirement.
Develop custom workflows, business rules, client scripts, UI policies, Script Includes, and Flow Designer solutions.
Integrate ServiceNow ITAM with third-party systems and discovery tools.
Maintain CMDB integrity and ensure asset data accuracy.
Configure software license management, entitlement tracking, and compliance reporting.
Create and maintain dashboards, reports, and performance analytics.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Troubleshoot platform issues and provide production support.
Follow ServiceNow development best practices and governance standards.
Required Skills:
4+ years of ServiceNow development and implementation experience.
Strong expertise in ServiceNow ITAM, including:
Hardware Asset Management (HAM)
Software Asset Management (SAM Pro)
Asset Lifecycle Management
Hands-on experience with:
Business Rules
Client Scripts
UI Policies
Flow Designer
Script Includes
Catalog Items
Service Portal
Experience with CMDB, Discovery, and ITSM modules.
Good knowledge of JavaScript and ServiceNow platform development.
Experience in integrations using REST/SOAP APIs.
Understanding of software licensing models and asset compliance processes.
