Clutch is looking for a Director of Editorial with expertise in medical editing for pharmaceuticals for an agency client of ours.
Responsibilities
Review pharmaceutical content: slide decks, digital, traditional
Check for regulatory compliancy with requirements, and target audience.
Oversee a team of agency Medical Editors, reviewing work for quality control.
Ability to train and mentor as a hands-on Editor.
Stay up-to-date with the latest scientific advancements.
Copy edit, proofread, and fact check materials.
Support the editorial team as needed.
Collaborate with subject matter experts to gather information and fact check.
Review and edit content for clarity, consistency, accuracy, spelling, grammar, and compliance.
Requirements
Bachelor's required.
5+ years of experience as a Medical Editor, leading a team, within an agency setting.
AOR experience in a pharmaceutical agency.
Previous experience with AMA style guide required.
Veeva submission experience strongly preferred.
Experience fact checking, annotating and referencing required.
Ability to take an editing assessment (required)
Strong collaboration and management skills preferred.
Available immediately, during business hours through the length of the contract.
