Summary:
In this role, you will lead high-impact, integrated analytics initiatives that inform strategic decision-making for Vizient and its clients. You will leverage Vizient Procedural Analytics (PA), the Vizient Clinical Data Base (CDB), and other data assets to integrate clinical, supply, operational, and financial insights into actionable recommendations. You will deliver advanced analyses, develop compelling data visualizations and executive-ready reporting, translate findings into meaningful insights, and guide clients and leadership in data-driven decision-making to improve healthcare delivery, outcomes, and cost performance.
Responsibilities:
Lead advanced, customized analyses leveraging Vizient Procedural Analytics (PA), Vizient Clinical Data Base (CDB), and other data assets to integrate clinical, supply, operational, and financial insights.
Analyze complex, multi-source data to identify trends, opportunities, performance implications, and actionable insights that support strategic decision-making.
Serve as a subject matter expert in clinical and supply-based analytics, guiding analytic design, benchmarking, interpretation, and recommendations.
Develop clear, compelling data visualizations and executive-ready reporting materials that translate complex analyses into actionable insights.
Design and maintain dashboards, charts, infographics, presentations, and other visual assets that simplify complex data and support proactive insight generation and client decision-making.
Apply data storytelling and visual design principles to communicate analytical findings through concise, compelling narratives tailored to executive, operational, and clinical audiences.
Present insights and recommendations to leadership and clients, providing guidance on data-driven strategies and opportunities.
Lead complex analytics projects and client engagements, including requirements gathering, expectation management, timelines, quality standards, and risk escalation.
Partner with cross-functional data, product, and technology teams to strengthen analytic methodologies, visualization standards, and data capabilities.
Serve as a team resource for analytics, data visualization, and insight communication, leveraging modern tools and storytelling techniques to improve the impact and adoption of analytical findings.
Mentor and coach analysts, provide technical review of deliverables, and identify opportunities to advance analytics, dashboard design, visualization approaches, and user-centered reporting experiences.
Qualifications:
Relevant degree preferred.
7 or more years of relevant experience required.
Demonstrated expertise integrating and analyzing complex data across multiple analytics tools, products, and data sets.
Proven expertise in clinical and supply-based analytics within healthcare environments required.
Strong working knowledge of Vizient Procedural Analytics (PA) and Vizient Clinical Data Base (CDB) highly preferred.
Proficiency with SQL, advanced Excel, and data visualization and reporting tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.
Demonstrated ability to translate complex analytical concepts and findings into clear visualizations, actionable insights, and executive-ready presentations.
Strong understanding of data storytelling principles, visual design, dashboard development, and data visualization best practices.
Broad understanding of the Vizient portfolio of products and services preferred.
Advanced analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
Experience presenting analytical insights and recommendations to senior and executive-level audiences.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality work within established timelines.
Estimated Hiring Range:
At Vizient, we consider skills, experience, and organizational needs in our compensation approach. Geographic factors may adjust the range estimate and hires typically fall below the top range. Compensation decisions are tailored to individual circumstances. The current salary range for this role is $102,400.00 to $179,000.00.
This position is also incentive eligible.
