Role Overview
As an Emergency Room Technical Assistant, you will play a vital role in assisting with patient care under the direct supervision of registered nurses or providers. Your work ensures that patients receive timely and compassionate care in a high-pressure environment. This role is essential in supporting the clinical team and enhancing the overall patient experience in our Emergency Department.

What You Will Do
Assist with patient care based on individual needs within the scope of practice.
Support registered nurses and providers in delivering timely and effective emergency care.
Ensure a safe and organized environment for patients and staff in the Emergency Department.
Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide compassionate and efficient patient care.

Required Qualifications
High School diploma or GED equivalent.
BCLS certification.
One of the following certifications/programs: B-EMT, Graduate from a formal Medical Assistant program, Completion of a formal nursing education program, Completion of a formal medical doctor education program, OR One (1) year of applicable Emergency Room Technical experience in lieu of above completed certification/program (Must complete applicable certification/program within 12 months of hire).
Successful completion of a 180-day orientation period.
Preferred Qualifications
Previous Emergency Department Technician or Medical Assistant experience.
EMT license.
