Directs the monthly close process in partnership with corporate accounting and system finance analytics, ensuring the integrity of financial reporting and translating monthly results into strategic implications for hospital leadership decision-making.
Negotiates directly with clinical and operational executive chairs to realign department budgets, resolve complex financial disagreements, and enforce cost-containment, converting variance findings into binding financial action plans with department heads within health system parameters.
Establishes site-specific standards for financial reporting and labor productivity tools used across the hospital, guiding the frameworks department heads use to interpret month-end reports and document variance explanations for management reporting.
Serves as the hospital's senior financial voice on executive-level committees and cross-functional forums, shaping site-level strategic recommendations and preparing supporting materials for system-wide decision-making.
