Social Media Marketing Intern (Sports)

Unpaid Internship Position Available
Electro is a functional electrolyte chewing gum brand growing quickly across college and professional sports. We work with NIL athletes at programs nationwide, professional players in the NBA and NFL, and a growing network of athlete ambassadors.
This is an unpaid internship. We are seeking an intern to help expand our partnerships with college and professional athletes through daily outreach, athlete qualification, and partner onboarding.

Key Responsibilities
- Escalate unique requests or issues to the founding team promptly.
- Recruit new athlete partners and guide them through onboarding.
- Prepare weekly summaries of athlete partnerships and results.
- Keep the athlete partner database accurate, current, and easy to use.
- Assist with planning NIL campaigns around key dates in the college sports calendar.
- Identify college athletes on Instagram who align with the brand and add them to our pipeline.
- Coordinate with the founding team on athlete program updates.
Requirements
- Strong written English and communication skills.
- Familiarity with Instagram messaging and basic CRM tools.
- Self-motivated and comfortable working in a remote startup environment.
- Ability to manage a high volume of daily communication.
- Interest in sports, NIL, or athlete marketing (preferred).
- Current or former college athletes, or candidates with NIL experience, are encouraged to apply.
