Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Back End Developer role based in Delhi, India. The Back End Developer will design, develop, and maintain server-side applications and APIs, ensuring high performance, security, and scalability. Daily responsibilities include implementing business logic, integrating data storage solutions, optimizing database queries, and collaborating with front-end developers to deliver complete features. The role involves reviewing code, writing unit and integration tests, troubleshooting production issues, and participating in technical discussions and architecture decisions. The developer will also contribute to documentation, adhere to coding standards, and support continuous improvement of deployment and monitoring practices.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Back-End Web Development skills, including building and maintaining APIs, working with databases, and managing server-side logic.
Candidates should possess solid Software Development skills, with experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining production-ready applications.
Candidates should possess a firm understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), including principles such as encapsulation, inheritance, and polymorphism.
Candidates should possess general Programming skills, with proficiency in at least one modern backend language (such as Java, C#, Python, Node.js, or similar).
Candidates should possess awareness of Front-End Development concepts to effectively collaborate on end-to-end feature implementation.
Candidates should have experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows.
Candidates should demonstrate strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and effective communication skills.
A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, is preferred.
Experience with security best practices, testing frameworks, and cloud or container-based environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, Docker, Kubernetes) is beneficial.
