Job Description : Lead team of Design Engineers for Petro Retail network.
Domain Expertise - civil structural & underground design, civil RCC portion
Guide Civil Enggs on civil design work, ensuring quality of deliverables, guiding consultants etc
Interaction with consultant on review of drawings
Engineer and implement projects to meet business requirements o Develop standard engineering drawings / specifications based on design basis o Timely deliverables as per agreed norms of quality and HSSE o Incorporate new developments in design and standards o Stay abreast of developments in technology / industry / competition o Resolve queries received from Project managers, Sites, Statutory authorities etc.
People development for enhanced capability & productivity o Developing training modules and conduct training programs o Create in house competency to meet all engineering needs
Bring focus and continually improve practices related to HSSE o Review & incorporate safety aspects /checks in existing designs & ensure awareness by available communication avenues. o Perform root cause analysis of accidents / near miss reports; implement corrective actions to avoid recurrence.
Asset management to enhance reliability & productivity o Carry out root cause analysis of failures and provide optimum solutions to enhance reliability Maximize customer satisfaction (internal & external) and take corrective action on feedback
