Design Engineer / Engineering Manager (Civil)/ Asst. Engineering Manager Department & Location Bhogapuram Site/ EDRC HQ Job Purpose
Responsible for design of Steel/ RCC structure from concept design, detail design and construction details stages as per the scope of the project in compliance with statutory rules and regulations. Preparation of specifications and quantity estimation of the same. Design coordination with other disciplines and resolving inter disciplinary design issues. Ensuring proper, timely and effective delivery of drawings and documents for construction and adhering to relevant codes and standards. Requirements Desired knowledge and experience EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS: (degree, training, or certification required) Bachelor’s in Engineering (Civil or Equivalent) (Mandatory) Masters in Structural Engineering (Preferred) RELEVANT EXPERIENCE:
(no. of years of technical, functional, and/or leadership experience or specific exposure required) 3 to 7 years of relevant work experience. Competencies required
TECHNICAL /FUNCTIONAL COMPETENCIES Engineer shall have a passion for innovation and have good presentation and convincing skills. Familiar with relevant codes and standards technical knowledge of the detail design engineering process Construction Method Understanding Drawing Cognition Geographical Design Acumen Material Requirement & Specifications Management Quantity Survey Awareness Relevant Standards Knowledge Requisite Software Knowledge of ETABS, STAAD, SAFE etc.. Align with organization / business requirements
