Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Coimbatore for a Civil Engineering Professional. The role involves preparing and reviewing civil engineering designs, drawings, and specifications for infrastructure and development projects. The professional will conduct site visits, support surveys, coordinate with contractors and internal teams, and ensure work complies with design standards, safety regulations, and project timelines. Day-to-day tasks include assisting in water resource planning, monitoring project progress, preparing technical reports, and supporting documentation for approvals. The role also requires active participation in project meetings, clear communication with stakeholders, and contribution to continuous improvement of engineering practices.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Civil Engineering and Civil Engineering Design, including familiarity with relevant codes, standards, and design tools.
Knowledge of Water Resource Management, such as basic hydrology, stormwater systems, and sustainable water use in civil projects.
Project Management abilities to plan tasks, track timelines, coordinate with multiple stakeholders, and support project delivery within scope and budget.
Effective Communication skills for collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, contractors, and clients, and for preparing clear technical documentation.
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related field; professional certifications or licensure (or progress toward licensure) are an advantage.
Proficiency with common civil engineering software (e.g., CAD tools, basic analysis software) and strong MS Office skills.
Demonstrated attention to detail, problem-solving mindset, and commitment to safety and compliance on-site.
Ability to work on-site in Coimbatore, manage field conditions, and adapt to project requirements and schedules.
