Job Description
We are seeking a senior Digital Security Architect to support a six-month legacy infrastructure security stabilization initiative.
The successful candidate will provide senior security architecture expertise, assess security risks within legacy environments, and develop practical security designs and technical guidance that enable delivery teams to reduce security risks while maintaining business and university services.
The architect will work within established cybersecurity strategy, architecture standards and governance.
Required / Preferred Qualifications
Recommended screening profile:
8+ years of security architecture or cybersecurity architecture experience.
8+ years of enterprise IT/infrastructure architecture experience.
8+ years of cybersecurity/information security experience.
5+ years conducting security risk assessments or cybersecurity risk analysis.
5+ years designing security architecture and security controls.
5+ years working with legacy infrastructure, legacy systems or complex enterprise environments.
5+ years working with technical delivery, infrastructure or engineering teams.
5+ years working within security governance, architecture standards or cybersecurity frameworks.
Strong ability to assess security risks and translate findings into practical technical recommendations.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
