Sample Control Technician, Eurofins Environment Testing - Stafford, TX

Eurofins Environment Testing South Central is looking for a Sample Control Technician in Stafford , TX.
The role will primarily focus on front desk/ cusotmer responsabilties but is also expectyed to assist our sample recieign department. Please see job duties below,
Essential Responsibilities:
Answer phone calls, greet visitors, and provide professional assistance to clients.
Customer service responsibilities including greeting walk in clients, answering phone calls, helping clients with choosing methods and filling out COCs, taking credit card payments, and other client support as needed;
This position is expected to assist oversee all the different aspects of shipping, receiving, storing, distributing and logging samples.
Prepare samples from processing
Accepts and signs for deliveries.
Assists in unloading shipments from delivery truck.
Uses dollies, forklifts, and other moving equipment to transport shipments from loading dock and around Sample Receiving area.
Opens coolers and inspects contents of shipments. Checks documentation to ensure all samples are accounted for.
Distributes samples in different departments as appropriate.
Follows strict safety and quality control procedures.
Stores, restocks, and shelves samples as necessary.
Ensures that work area is clean and organized.
Enters records in LIMS system
High School or GED
Customer Service experience required.
Good Oral and written English language skills
Ability to work under pressure
Ability to move around, stand for long periods of time, sit for long periods of time, squat and lift containers up to 50 pounds
Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
Professional working proficiency in English is a requirement, including the ability to read, write and speak in Englis
