Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Music and Dance Teachers (4 positions) for two residential schools based in Jewar and Dadri, Uttar Pradesh.
The Music and Dance Teacher will plan and deliver engaging lessons in music and dance, aligned with the organization’s objectives for skill development and inclusive education. Daily responsibilities include preparing lesson plans, teaching group and individual classes, demonstrating techniques, guiding practice sessions, and adapting activities to meet varied learning needs. The teacher will assess learners’ progress, provide constructive feedback, and maintain a safe, encouraging classroom environment. Additional duties include collaborating with other educators, organizing performances or events, and contributing to curriculum enrichment and documentation.
Qualifications
Ability to provide structured Dance Instruction and Dance Education, with strong skills in Dance.
Classical dance preferred
Competence in Teaching, including classroom management, lesson planning, and learner assessment.
Proficiency in Music, including basic theory, rhythm, and performance or vocal/instrumental guidance.
Classical music prferred
Experience working with diverse learners and commitment to inclusive, learner-centered teaching.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire learners.
Relevant training or certification in dance, music, performing arts, or education; a degree or diploma in a related field is an advantage.
Affiliation with a classical dance academy preferred (for student exams)
Prior experience as a music or dance teacher or facilitator, especially in school or community settings, is preferred.
Willingness to work on-site in Jewar and Dadri and participate in events, workshops, and performances as required.

No
