Role Description The Building and Timber Pest Inspector is a full-time remote role responsible for conducting comprehensive inspections of properties to identify structural defects, safety concerns, and timber pest activity. Day-to-day tasks include visiting sites, assessing building components and timber structures, identifying evidence of termites and other wood-destroying pests, and documenting findings with photographs and clear notes. The inspector prepares detailed written reports in line with relevant standards, communicates results to clients and stakeholders, and provides practical recommendations for remediation or further specialist investigation. The role also involves coordinating inspection schedules, maintaining accurate records, adhering to safety protocols, and staying current with building codes, inspection methodologies, and pest management practices. Qualifications
