Role Description As a Business Development Specialist (Furniture) at Studio Saddles, you will focus on expanding the soft furniture segment by identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with key clients, and growing strategic partnerships. On a day-to-day basis, you will research potential markets, generate and qualify leads, conduct client meetings, prepare proposals, and negotiate terms to close deals. You will collaborate with design, production, and marketing teams to align offerings with customer requirements and market trends, and monitor sales performance against targets. You will also participate in local events or trade shows, collect feedback from clients, and contribute to improving product positioning and sales strategies. This is a full-time, hybrid role based in Noida, with a mix of in-office work and some work-from-home flexibility.
Qualifications
Business development and sales skills, including lead generation, pipeline management, and deal closing in furniture, interiors, or related industries.
Client relationship management and account management experience, with the ability to build long-term partnerships and maintain high customer satisfaction.
Market research and analytical skills to understand customer preferences, competitive landscape, and emerging trends in furniture and home décor.
Presentation, negotiation, and communication skills to deliver compelling pitches and secure favorable commercial terms.
Basic understanding of furniture design, upholstery materials, and manufacturing processes, or strong interest in learning these domains.
Proficiency with CRM tools, spreadsheets, and standard office software to track activities, prepare reports, and forecast sales.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Interior Design, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience in B2B or B2C sales.
Ability to work in a hybrid setup in Noida, manage time effectively, travel locally for client meetings, and collaborate in cross-functional teams.
