Role Description The Social Media Manager role is a full-time, hybrid position based in Mumbai, with flexibility for some work-from-home. This role is responsible for planning, creating, and publishing content across social media platforms, aligned with brand and campaign objectives. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing social media calendars, optimizing posts for reach and engagement, monitoring performance metrics, and adjusting strategies based on insights. The Social Media Manager will collaborate with creative, production, and account teams to coordinate visual assets, copy, and campaign timelines. The role also involves community management, responding to audience interactions, staying current with platform trends, and recommending new formats or channels to strengthen the brand’s presence.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong skills in Social Media Marketing and Social Media Optimization (SMO) to plan and execute effective platform-specific campaigns.
Candidates should possess skills in Content Strategy and Writing to develop compelling, consistent, and brand-aligned content for multiple channels.
Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills to collaborate with internal teams, coordinate with clients, and manage online communities.
Candidates should have experience using social media analytics tools, understanding KPIs, and translating performance data into actionable improvements.
Candidates should ideally have familiarity with visual storytelling for advertising, basic knowledge of design or video formats, and an understanding of digital marketing principles.
Relevant academic background in Marketing, Communications, Media, or a related field, along with prior experience managing brand social media accounts, is preferred.
Candidates should be able to work in a hybrid setup from Mumbai, manage deadlines, and adapt quickly to evolving social media trends and client needs.
