Role Description The Sales and Marketing Specialist role is a full-time, on-site position based in the Pune Division. The specialist will identify and qualify potential customers, conduct sales meetings, prepare quotes or proposals, and follow up to close sales opportunities. Daily tasks include maintaining customer relationships, responding to inquiries, and providing service support to ensure satisfaction and repeat business. The role involves planning and executing marketing activities, such as campaigns, promotions, and participation in industry events, as well as monitoring market trends and competitor activity. The specialist will collaborate with internal teams, deliver product training or demonstrations to customers and colleagues, and prepare regular sales and marketing reports for management.
Qualifications
Strong Communication skills, including clear verbal and written interaction with customers and internal teams.
Customer Service skills focused on relationship-building, problem-solving, and maintaining high satisfaction levels.
Sales skills for prospecting, negotiation, closing deals, and achieving or exceeding sales targets.
Training skills to deliver product presentations, demonstrations, and knowledge-sharing sessions.
Sales Management skills to plan activities, manage pipelines, and report on performance.
Relevant experience in sales and marketing, preferably in industrial products, manufacturing, or related sectors.
Ability to work on-site in the Pune Division, manage field visits, and travel to customer locations as needed.
Proficiency with basic office software and CRM or sales tracking tools.
Diploma or degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable working towards measurable goals and deadlines.
