About Us
AirAdvisor is a fast-growing TravelTech and LegalTech startup on a mission to ensure air travelers receive the compensation they are entitled to for flight disruptions, including delays, cancellations, missed connections, and other airline-related issues like overbooking, lost, or delayed luggage. We operate across the EU, the UK, the US, and beyond, with a clear mission to protect air passenger rights worldwide.
Our Impact: 800,000+ claims processed for clients from 221 countries • 4.5-star rating based on 28,500+ reviews • Operating in 21 languages. We are on a path to reach 1 million served claims by the end of 2026.
Current Business Model: B2C, commission-based. Soon launching: Annual subscription coverage product (AirAdvisor+) - insurance for flights and baggage disruptions caused by airlines' negligence. Exploring: new revenue streams and geographical markets.
Our Mission: Ensure air travelers receive the compensation they are entitled to for flight and baggage disruptions globally.
Why this matters: Airlines exploit passenger confusion about their rights. We are fixing that, one claim at a time.
Global Scale: International team spread across 18 countries. Fast-growing, ambitious, impact-driven.
About the Role
Are you a proactive and results-oriented Content Writing talent ready to make a tangible impact? AirAdvisor is on an ambitious journey, fighting for air passenger rights globally, and we are looking for a sharp, experienced Content Writer: final-year or fresh graduate Intern in Europe with 2-3 years of experience in content writing and fluent in Italian, Romanian, Polish, Hungarian, and/or German to join our fast-growing, international team.
We value original, authentic storytelling. Because of this, we do not permit the use of generative AI tools for writing or drafting content. We are looking for a writer who brings a genuine perspective, critical thinking, and a distinct human voice to the page. Why human-first? AI struggles with nuance, real-world experience, and genuine authority. We care deeply about connecting with our audience through real insights, original reporting, and a natural tone. All written content for this role must be conceived, researched, and written by you. AI may be used for research and keyword exploration only. All writing and editing must be manual, human work. AI-assisted drafts, paraphrased AI output, and auto-generated rewrites will result in immediate contract termination.
What You Will Do
Content Re-Optimization
Re-optimize existing AirAdvisor pages and blog posts that are underperforming or losing traffic in the US search. This covers the full website — blog articles, landing pages, airline and airport pages, and other content types. This is not a full rewrite by default — preserve what ranks, fix what doesn't.
Re-optimization scope typically includes keyword research for current search demand and updating or expanding content to better match search intent in your local language.
Your local market adjustment: terminology, regulatory context (EU261, the Montreal Convention, local regulation), spelling, phrasing, and examples relevant to travelers from your country of origin.
Structural edits were needed (headings, flow, internal linking anchors)
Adding missing content angles that competing pages cover
Tracked changes delivery in Google Docs or .docx
New Content Creation
Manually written, SEO-optimized content for the AirAdvisor website in your native language.
This includes blog articles, informational and landing pages, and other content types as needed.
Research must go beyond what a basic brief or AI prompt surfaces. We want you to bring real expertise, independent judgment, and, where relevant, verifiable sources.
As you grow into the role, you may also:
Review article briefs before writing and flag issues such as outdated regulations, duplicate FAQs, or incorrect internal links.
Localize English articles for your native language: speaking readers, adapting examples and structure rather than translating word for word.
Draft and post social media content for your local market audience.
Self-check published articles against our performance checklist and suggest fixes.
What is Expected From You
You will own ongoing content work across the AirAdvisor website in your native language, re-optimizing existing pages that have lost visibility in your local language search, and writing new content targeting your local market.
This is a milestone-based engagement. You will work on between three and five pieces weekly, with scope and brief confirmed before each task begins.
Following the provided keyword brief strictly, integrate keywords naturally, without forcing or dropping them.
Satisfy user search intent: explain usefulness to the reader early (strong hook).
Top-level native language skills throughout: idiomatic, smooth writing for your local audience.
Self-review your work before submission. Do not outsource QA to AI, as it frequently removes critical keywords, weakens legal phrasing, and misses your local market nuance. You are responsible for your own quality check.
Clean Google Doc or DOCX draft on delivery.
What We Are Looking For
Native speaker in Italian, Polish, Romanian, Hungarian, or German.
Experience in writing SEO content across multiple page types: blogs, landing pages, informational content, ideally in travel, consumer rights, legal-adjacent, or fintech verticals.
Basic understanding of SEO (keywords, headings, search intent), or the willingness to learn it quickly.
A writer familiar with European air passenger rights: (EU261, the Montreal Convention, airline refund policies, etc. or able to research them accurately, learn from our team, and write about them with authority.
Careful with facts: comfortable reading and explaining regulations in plain language.
Comfortable working from keyword briefs and structured outlines.
Candidates giving examples with live links to published content will be prioritized.
Who You Are
We are specifically seeking candidates who are ready to hit the ground running. We value motivation and initiative, but for this role, prior experience in content writing is key.
A student or recent graduate in Journalism, Communications, Marketing, Languages, Law, or a related field.
Demonstrated Previous Content creation experience: This is crucial. You must possess prior hands-on experience, as evidenced in your portfolio. Please show us what you have already done!
Native Language Skills: Your ability to communicate effectively, both in writing and verbally, is essential.
Organized, Curious, Proactive, and Independent: You are comfortable managing your tasks remotely, taking initiative, and always looking for new angles.
