Continuous Improvement Engineer

Job Description:
This role focuses on quality improvement and manufacturing.
Responsibilities:
Identify opportunities to improve productivity within welding and paint processes through Lean and continuous improvement methods.
Design and prototype fixtures or tooling improvements that reduce cycle time, setup time, operator motion, and ergonomic risk.
Analyze material flow within manufacturing cells and develop carts, racks, or point-of-use storage solutions to reduce unnecessary travel and handling.
Measure and document improvements in productivity, material movement, and operator usability.
Create standardized work instructions, visual standards, and process documentation to support implementation and long-term adoption.
Required Qualifications:
Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Engineering Technology, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, or related field
Ability to cope with ambiguity and challenging situations
Commitment to deliver the job and go beyond what is expected
Ability to interact effectively and communicate with all levels of the organisation
Ability to be organised and execute tasks in a timely manner
Problem solving, logical thinking and sound judgement
You should be no more than 12 months post-graduation and available to take up a position no later than 30 September 2027
You should have no more than 12 months’ work experience (not including university placements, internships, summer jobs, etc.)
You must be eligible to live and work permanently in the U.S
You will need to have a Degree and/or Masters in a relevant discipline i.e.
A good level of verbal and written English
Driving Licence
Willing to work full-time, in person
Compensation:
The compensation for this role is $78,000 per year.
