Yard & Warehouse Worker (Dural)

Yard & Warehouse Worker – Dural
Be part of what’s next at Hardware & General.
You’ll be part of a trusted supplier known for expert advice, strong product knowledge and exceptional customer service across more than 140,000 products.
We’re investing in our stores, our systems, our data and, most importantly, our people. There has never been a more exciting time to join H&G.
About the Opportunity
We’re looking for a reliable, hands-on team player to join our Dural yard and warehouse team.
This is a practical, active role suited to someone who enjoys working with building materials, supporting customers and keeping operations running smoothly. Experience is valuable, but the right attitude, willingness to learn and commitment to safety matter just as much.
Have a forklift licence, or willing to obtain one? We encourage you to apply.
What You’ll Be Doing
Operating a forklift and safely handling building materials
Loading and unloading deliveries and vehicles
Receiving, sorting and allocating incoming stock
Picking, preparing and dispatching customer orders
Monitoring stock and reporting shortages or damaged goods
Working across the yard, warehouse and store as required
Supporting the team to keep daily operations running efficiently
What We’re Looking For
You may not have experience in every aspect of this role, and that’s okay. We can teach you many of the practical skills. We’re looking for someone who brings the right attitude and takes pride in their work.
Full Australian working rights, without restrictions
A current forklift licence (LF), or willingness to obtain one
Ability to safely lift and move materials weighing up to 25kg
Building materials or warehouse experience is an advantage, but not essential
Reliable, safety-conscious and willing to get involved
A team player who communicates well and supports others
Able to work independently, follow instructions and manage priorities
A positive attitude and willingness to learn
In your application, please provide your resume and include three reasons in your cover letter why you should be considered for this role. Think about the qualities you bring, how you approach work and what makes you a reliable team member — not just what is listed on your resume.
What You’ll Get
Stable, long-term employment with a respected family business
Opportunities to develop your skills and build a career with H&G
Career pathways across multiple Sydney locations
Supportive team culture with experienced staff
Staff discounts after probation
Weekly pay
A business that genuinely invests in its people and their growth
Ready to Take the Next Step?
If you’re looking for more than just a job and want the opportunity to learn, contribute and grow with a business that values its people, we’d love to hear from you.
Successful applicants will be required to complete pre-employment screening, including a medical assessment, drug and alcohol screening, and a National Police Check, as part of the recruitment process.
