Role Description The Relationship Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai. The role involves managing and nurturing relationships with existing and prospective customers, understanding their financial and protection needs, and recommending suitable life insurance products and services. The Relationship Manager will conduct regular client meetings, follow up on leads, assist with policy servicing, and ensure timely resolution of customer queries. This role involves close coordination with internal teams to process applications, maintain accurate records, and ensure compliance with regulatory and company standards. The Relationship Manager is also expected to achieve assigned sales and service targets while maintaining a high level of professionalism and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
Strong relationship-building and customer service abilities, with a focus on understanding client needs and maintaining long-term partnerships.
Sales and business development aptitude, including lead follow-up, opportunity identification, and target achievement in financial or insurance products.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the capacity to explain complex insurance concepts in clear, accessible language.
Organizational and administrative skills, including accurate record-keeping, documentation handling, and adherence to processes and compliance requirements.
Basic financial literacy and interest in life insurance and banking products; prior experience in insurance, banking, or financial services is an advantage.
Ability to work on-site in Mumbai, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and adapt to a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Commerce, or a related field is preferred, though equivalent professional experience may be considered.
Proficiency with common office software and CRM tools to track customer interactions and manage accounts effectively.
