Sales Intern

Role Description The Sales Intern role is a full-time, hybrid position based in Tiruvannamalai, with flexibility for some work-from-home days. In this role, the intern supports the sales team by researching prospective clients, updating CRM records, and assisting with outreach under guidance from senior staff. Day-to-day responsibilities include engaging with potential and existing customers, responding to inquiries, and helping prepare sales presentations, proposals, and basic product demonstrations. The intern collaborates closely with engineering and consulting teams to understand IZIVAR’s solutions, communicate value clearly, and follow up on leads generated through training and internship programs. The position offers hands-on exposure to the end-to-end sales process in a technology-focused environment, with opportunities for learning, mentorship, and skill development.
Qualifications
Strong Communication and Customer Service skills to interact clearly, professionally, and respectfully with clients and internal teams.
Interest and foundational skills in Sales, with the ability to support lead generation, follow-ups, and basic opportunity tracking.
Aptitude for Training and Sales Management support, including assisting in onboarding materials, sales documentation, and team coordination tasks.
Ability to learn and explain technology solutions (software, AI, cloud, and mobile apps) in simple, business-focused language.
Good organizational skills, attention to detail, and comfort working with spreadsheets, documents, and CRM or similar tools.
Self-motivated, able to take direction and work both independently and collaboratively in a hybrid office/remote setup.
Pursuing or having recently completed a degree or diploma in business, marketing, engineering, or a related field is beneficial.
Prior internship or project experience in sales, marketing, or customer-facing roles in a tech or services environment is an advantage.
