Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Virtualization SME to design, implement, optimize, and support enterprise virtualization platforms across on-premises, private, and hybrid cloud environments. The candidate will act as a technical lead for virtualization infrastructure, ensuring high availability, performance, security, and scalability of mission-critical systems.
Key Responsibilities
Architect, deploy, and manage enterprise virtualization environments.
Lead design and implementation of VMware, Hyper-V, Nutanix, and other virtualization technologies.
Perform capacity planning, performance tuning, disaster recovery, and infrastructure optimization.
Manage ESXi hosts, vCenter, clusters, datastores, distributed switches, and virtual networking.
Drive virtualization modernization initiatives, including hybrid cloud and container integration.
Design and support High Availability (HA), Distributed Resource Scheduler (DRS), vMotion, SRM, and backup solutions.
Troubleshoot complex virtualization, storage, networking, and performance issues.
Collaborate with security, cloud, network, and platform engineering teams.
Define infrastructure standards, governance, and best practices.
Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership.

Experience managing large-scale enterprise virtualization environments.
