Role Description The Senior Interior Designer will lead end-to-end design projects, from initial client briefings and concept development to detailed design documentation and on-site coordination. Day-to-day responsibilities include space planning, preparing design presentations, selecting materials and finishes, and coordinating FF&E specifications with vendors and contractors. The role involves collaborating closely with clients, junior designers, and project stakeholders to ensure design intent, budget, and timelines are met. The Senior Interior Designer will review construction drawings, provide design guidance during site visits, and oversee quality and consistency of project deliverables. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Pune City, requiring regular presence at the studio and project locations.
Qualifications
Strong expertise in Interior Design and Space Planning, with a proven ability to develop functional layouts and cohesive design concepts.
Knowledge of Architecture fundamentals and experience collaborating with architectural and engineering teams.
Proficiency in preparing and reviewing Construction Drawings, including detailed plans, elevations, and joinery drawings.
Experience with FF&E selection, including furniture, fixtures, equipment, finishes, and material specifications.
Advanced skills in design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp,Rendring software like: lumion, vray,3D visualization tools, Adobe Creative Suite).
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field, with several years of relevant professional experience in interior projects.
Strong project management, time management, and coordination skills, with the ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously.
Excellent communication, presentation, and client management abilities, with a collaborative and inclusive working style.
Attention to detail, problem-solving mindset, and familiarity with local building codes, materials, and construction practices.
Experience in residential and commercial projects in Pune or similar urban environments is an advantage.
