About The Role

As a Mid-Level Solutions Architect, you will manage a portfolio of clients, acting as a trusted technical advisor and helping them achieve their business objectives through tailored cloud solutions. You will leverage your expertise in public cloud technologies, particularly AWS, to assess architectures, identify risks, and recommend improvements aligned with industry best practices. Working closely with clients and internal teams, you will ensure technical challenges are addressed effectively and customer expectations are met. You will also play a key role in risk management, action planning, and continuous service improvement. This fully remote opportunity is ideal for a proactive, analytical professional who enjoys solving complex problems, building strong relationships, and staying up to date with cloud innovation.
Accountabilities
Client Relationship Management: Manage a portfolio of clients, understand their business objectives and technical requirements, and provide tailored recommendations that address their needs.
Technical Advisory: Act as a trusted technical advisor, translating complex technical concepts into clear, actionable recommendations that support customer decision-making.
AWS Architecture Best Practices: Apply the AWS Well-Architected Framework to evaluate cloud environments, identify risks, and recommend improvements in architecture, security, reliability, performance, cost optimization, and operational excellence.
Customer Success: Build and maintain strong client relationships, proactively address technical challenges, and support a positive customer experience.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with sales, product development, technical support, and other internal teams to align solutions with customer expectations and communicate feedback that supports continuous improvement.
Risk Management: Identify potential technical and operational risks early, establish mitigation plans, and coordinate follow-up activities with clients and internal stakeholders.
Issue Escalation: Assess when technical requests require escalation and coordinate the involvement of the appropriate teams to ensure timely resolution.
Action Plan Management: Define action items, assign responsibilities, establish deadlines, and monitor progress through to completion.
Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve customer engagement, service delivery, internal processes, and the overall quality of cloud solutions.
Technical Knowledge Development: Stay informed about cloud technologies, emerging tools, and AWS best practices to provide relevant and effective technical guidance.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Previous experience as a Technical Account Manager, Solutions Architect, Pre-Sales Engineer, or in a similar customer-facing technical role.
Strong knowledge of public cloud platforms, preferably Amazon Web Services (AWS).
Solid understanding of the AWS Well-Architected Framework and its practical application to cloud architecture assessment and optimization.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple client requests and priorities simultaneously.
Experience with project management principles, action plans, and follow-up processes.
Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify risks, evaluate alternatives, and recommend appropriate solutions.
A customer-oriented mindset and the ability to build trusted relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
