Role Description The Chartered Accountant will be responsible for handling statutory audits, internal audits, tax planning, and tax compliance for a range of clients, including corporates, PSUs, SMEs, and startups. Day-to-day work will include preparation and review of financial statements, ensuring adherence to accounting standards, managing direct and indirect tax filings, and supporting clients with regulatory and compliance matters. The role will also involve conducting risk assessments, evaluating internal controls, and preparing professional reports and documentation for management and regulatory authorities. The Chartered Accountant will collaborate with partners and team members, participate in client meetings, and provide practical, value-driven advisory on financial, tax, and assurance issues. This is a full-time, on-site role based in New Delhi.
Qualifications
Professional qualification as a Chartered Accountant (CA), with valid membership in the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI).
Strong knowledge of accounting standards, financial reporting, and audit procedures, including statutory and internal audit practices.
Expertise in direct and indirect tax laws, tax planning, compliance, and filing of returns for diverse client segments.
Experience in compliance management, risk assessment, internal controls, and regulatory requirements relevant to Indian businesses.
Proficiency in accounting and audit software, MS Excel, and other productivity tools used for financial analysis and reporting.
Ability to analyze financial data, interpret regulations, and provide clear, actionable advisory to clients and stakeholders.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare structured reports, presentations, and client documentation.
Demonstrated ability to work independently and within teams, manage multiple assignments, and meet deadlines in a professional environment.
Prior experience working with corporates, PSUs, SMEs, or startups will be an advantage.
