Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Project Manager / Delivery Lead with strong expertise in the Banking and Payments domain to lead large-scale payment transformation and delivery initiatives. The ideal candidate should have proven experience managing end-to-end project delivery, stakeholder governance, vendor management, and cross-functional teams within banking environments.
Key Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end delivery of banking and payments projects.
Drive project planning, execution, monitoring, and successful delivery within timelines and budget.
Manage multiple workstreams, dependencies, risks, issues, and escalations.
Collaborate with business stakeholders, technology teams, vendors, and senior leadership.
Ensure adherence to project governance, compliance, and regulatory requirements.
Track project milestones, deliverables, and status reporting to stakeholders.
Coordinate UAT, production rollout, and post-implementation support activities.
Manage resource planning, budgeting, and vendor engagement.
Drive continuous improvement in delivery processes and project execution.
Required Skills
Strong experience as a Project Manager/Delivery Lead in the Banking domain.
Extensive knowledge of Payments including:
SWIFT
RTGS
NEFT
IMPS
UPI
Domestic & Cross-border Payments
Payment Processing Systems
Experience managing large-scale digital transformation or payment modernization programs.
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
Experience working with Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid delivery methodologies.
Risk, issue, and dependency management expertise.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Finance, or related field.
PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, Scrum, or equivalent project management certification.
Prior experience working with leading banks or financial institutions.
