Full Stack Engineer

Hitogai is looking for a Founding Software Engineer to help build and develop our AI-powered SaaS platform.
This is an early engineering role with direct involvement in the development of the product. You will work closely with the founder on the platform's architecture, features, integrations, and technical direction.
Responsibilities include developing the frontend and backend of the platform, building APIs and third-party integrations, implementing AI features and automation, working with databases and authentication systems, and helping deploy and maintain the application.
We are looking for someone with experience in full-stack software development who is comfortable working independently and solving technical problems in an early-stage environment. Experience with React, Next.js, TypeScript, Node.js, Python, SQL, cloud infrastructure, and AI or LLM APIs is useful, but experience with every technology listed is not required.
Because Hitogai is still in its early stages, you will have significant input into technical decisions and how the product develops.
Qualifications:
Experience with full-stack software development
Experience building web applications and APIs
Familiarity with databases, authentication, and cloud deployment
Experience working with third-party APIs and integrations
Familiarity with AI and LLM APIs
Ability to work independently and solve technical problems
Strong communication skills
Experience building SaaS products is preferred
