Role Description The Data Analyst intern will support the team by collecting, cleaning, and organizing data from various sources to enable accurate analysis. Day-to-day responsibilities include running exploratory analyses, building basic reports and dashboards, and helping interpret data trends for internal stakeholders. The intern will assist in preparing visualizations and summaries that communicate insights clearly and support data-informed decisions. This is an internship role with a hybrid work arrangement based in Kolkata, where some work-from-home flexibility is available.
Qualifications
Strong Analytical Skills and Data Analytics capabilities to interpret complex datasets and identify patterns.
Knowledge of Statistics to support hypothesis testing, basic forecasting, and data validation.
Understanding of Data Modeling concepts to organize data logically and support reporting needs.
Effective Communication skills to present findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Familiarity with spreadsheets and data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Python, or R) is beneficial.
Ability to work collaboratively in a hybrid environment, manage time effectively, and learn new tools quickly.
Enrollment in or completion of a degree program in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
