BL/GL Creator Eco-system Assistant (Part-Time)

Hiring a Creator Ecosystem Assistant / Intern to find the BL/GL creators and stories that will define our new programme launch.
The role
You will be our scout for creators and stories. You'll research the BL/GL creator and IP landscape, find the people and works fans already love, and help bring them onto Slush.
This role sits at the heart of how we build its creator community. You don't need years of business experience. You need to know this fandom from the inside.
As the platform grows, you'll help keep our creator pipeline full through referrals and community partnerships, and flag new IP worth adapting.
What you'll do
Scout creators and IP
Find BL/GL video creators on TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, X, Patreon and short-drama apps. Look for fan filmmakers, indie studios, series creators, and audio-drama creators ready to move into video.
Find BL/GL novels, webcomics and stories, both Chinese danmei and English-language, that have strong overseas fan demand and could be adapted to video.
Map communities
Join and map the Discord servers, subreddits and fandom spaces where BL/GL fans gather.
Build relationships with community moderators and admins.
Interview creators and fans about the videos they want, the member perks they would pay for, and how creators find new fans.
Reach out and onboard
Send first-touch outreach by email and DM, using our Creator Pitch kit.
Book intro calls, follow up, and guide new creators through onboarding to their first upload.
Support launch activities: themed creator challenges, premieres and creator meetups.

Must have
A Love heart in this space
A long-time, deeply engaged BL/GL fan. You can name the creators, series, ships and communities that matter right now, and explain why they work.
At home in fandom spaces: Discord, Reddit, Tumblr, AO3, X and TikTok.
Native or fluent English. You write outreach that sounds like a fellow fan, not a sales pitch.
Organized and persistent. You keep a clean tracker and follow up without being pushy.
Respects community norms, including consent, credit and content warnings. Comfortable with mature romance content;
