Divisional Overview:
Global Markets Division: Based in Mumbai, the front-office team which works on a team extension model delivers pricing, modelling and risk management expertise to the Global Markets business. Founded as a centre of excellence, the group leads the way in price discovery and portfolio optimization techniques and is integral to the business’ aggressive revenue targets. The team is playing an integral role in structuring, pricing, risk management and new idea generation
Business Overview:
The Equity Volatility Strategies Team works with Sales across regions on below
(i) Provide prices to clients on bespoke solutions linked to AeJ Trading books
(ii) Manufacture and market Equity Volatility Strategies for global clients
The team provides idea generation, pricing, and executes strategies and transactions being done.

Role & Responsibilities:
Strategy creation / research and development of Equity Volatility, Equity Cash and Multi-Asset Strategies
 Participate to the idea generation including yield enhancement solutions and risk management solutions.
 Delivering data, cost and liquidity analysis tailor made to such investment strategies
 Build-up of the backtesting platform used to create those strategies.
 Creation of marketing content positioning and rational using those strategies.
 Daily monitoring of strategies and transactions calculations.
 Creation of scalable Index Rules together with the Legal team to document such strategies.
 Pre-trade modelling, strategy selection, monitoring, performance analysis
 Connect with Sales in Asia in order to maximise the franchise value.
 Help design and build robust analytical toolsets – efficient, reusable and scalable solutions for improvement of daily workflow and optimisation of Equity strategies.
 Self-drive to identify gaps and strengthen current processes and control.
 Working in close synergy with global trading desks and sales teams facing dynamic markets and aggressive deadlines
Mind Set:
Domain
Experience in creating Equity Volatility strategies, from idea generation, design, back-testing, to index rules creation, production level calculation, and monitoring of calculation.
Good market knowledge to know what competitors are offering now
Strong analytical, problem solving, and troubleshooting abilities
Good communication skills.
Very Strong work ethics
Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment
Strong leadership / people management skills
Technical
Strong understanding of Quantitative Investment strategies, equity derivative market, greeks and hedging strategy
Strong programming skills (python)
Comfort with technology to the extent of helping manage / design automation infrastructure
