About the role
Description supplied by the original job listing.
Company Description OPENCE is a physical AI lab operating at the intersection of hardware and software, focused on bringing intelligence from the digital realm into the physical world. The team builds AI systems that design electronics, generate the firmware that runs them, and validate performance on real hardware. OPENCE’s first products are Layer, an AI-driven PCB design solution, and Core, an AI-driven firmware engineering platform. The company offers a collaborative environment for working on cutting-edge tools that redefine how electronic systems are designed and tested.
Role Description The Senior PCB Design Engineer will work on-site in Bengaluru on a contract basis, contributing to advanced PCB designs for AI-driven hardware products. Responsibilities include creating and optimizing board layouts, performing circuit design and analysis, and collaborating closely with firmware and hardware teams to ensure seamless integration. The role involves reviewing design requirements, selecting components, running design rule checks, and supporting prototype bring-up and validation on the lab bench. The engineer will document design decisions, maintain design libraries, support manufacturing handoff, and participate in design reviews to ensure reliability, performance, and scalability of the hardware platforms.
