About the Role
We’re looking for a Product Engineer to join Kitaru, ZenML’s AI evaluation platform. In this role, you’ll build and ship product features for AI agent developers while engaging directly with the AI engineering community.
You’ll help shape the product by building in public, sharing technical content and demos, and gathering feedback from developers through platforms like X and GitHub.
This is a hands-on role for an engineer who enjoys building products end-to-end, communicating with customers, and working at the intersection of engineering, AI, and community engagement.
Key Responsibilities
Build and Ship Features: Design, develop, and deploy product features for AI agent builders, incorporating feedback to continuously improve the product.
Engage the AI Community: Create technical content, demos, and posts on X and GitHub to share progress and gather community feedback.
Drive Product Decisions: Translate insights from developers and users into actionable product improvements.
Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work with product, design, and marketing teams to deliver valuable features efficiently.
Lead Customer Demos: Present product capabilities to prospects and customers, gather feedback, and improve the user experience.
Improve Platform Reliability: Maintain and optimize the codebase, enhance performance, and document technical decisions for the community.
Qualifications
3+ years of experience in full-stack or backend engineering, with a proven track record of delivering features end-to-end.
Strong understanding of AI/ML tooling, AI agent frameworks, or evaluation platforms, or the ability to learn these technologies quickly.
Experience engaging with technical communities or building in public through technical blogs, GitHub, or social platforms.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into customer and product insights.
Comfortable working across engineering, customer engagement, and marketing in a fast-paced startup environment.
Familiarity with Python and modern web frameworks used in AI engineering tools.
