Mechanical & Electrical Resident Technical Officer (RTO) - Changi

Join our SMM site supervisory team and play a key role in the delivery of a major project in Changi.
We are seeking an experienced M&E Resident Technical Officer (RTO) to supervise Mechanical & Electrical works, including chiller plant and Air Handling Unit (AHU) installations, ensuring quality, safety, and compliance throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise M&E construction works, including chiller plant and AHU installations.
Attend project, design, technical, and progress meetings, and maintain proper records and meeting notes.
Witness site demonstrations, testing and commissioning activities, and follow up on outstanding issues with consultants and contractors.
Ensure all works are carried out safely and in accordance with project requirements and site safety standards.
Review and monitor M&E installation works, sequencing, and coordination with other disciplines.
Identify and resolve site clashes, technical issues, and coordination challenges relating to M&E services.
Monitor site progress and ensure works are completed in accordance with approved drawings and specifications.
Requirements
Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent from a recognised institution; or
Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent from a recognised institution.
Minimum 5 years of relevant hands-on site supervision experience in M&E works.
Strong knowledge of M&E systems, testing & commissioning (T&C) procedures, and construction methodologies.
Experience with chiller plants, AHUs, and multidisciplinary coordination in a construction environment.
