Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Mechanical Engineer role based in Jodhpur. The Mechanical Engineer will design and analyze mechanical components and assemblies, with a focus on bearings and related systems, ensuring performance, durability, and safety. Daily responsibilities include developing and reviewing engineering drawings, performing calculations, and using CAD tools to model parts and assemblies. The role involves collaborating with production, sales, and purchasing teams to select suitable components, troubleshoot mechanical issues, and support customers with technical guidance. The Mechanical Engineer will participate in research and development activities, manage small to medium engineering projects, prepare documentation and reports, and contribute to continuous improvement of products and processes.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Mechanical Engineering, with the ability to apply core principles to design, analysis, and problem-solving.
Proficiency in Machine Design and Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools for creating, reviewing, and updating mechanical drawings and models.
Experience or interest in Research and Development (R&D), including testing, performance evaluation, and improvement of mechanical components.
Project Management skills for planning tasks, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and meeting deadlines and quality standards.
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related discipline.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, standards, and specifications.
Effective communication skills for collaborating with internal teams and supporting customers with technical information.
Attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and a practical approach to troubleshooting mechanical issues.
Familiarity with industrial bearings, rotating equipment, or manufacturing environments is an advantage.
