Role Description The Sr. AI Engineer role is a full-time, on-site position based in Hyderabad. The individual in this role will design, develop, and deploy advanced AI and machine learning solutions, with a focus on agentic AI use cases across MOURI Tech’s product portfolio. Day-to-day responsibilities include building and optimizing neural network architectures, implementing NLP models, performing pattern recognition tasks, and integrating AI capabilities into production-grade software systems. The Sr. AI Engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into scalable AI solutions, conduct experiments and model evaluations, and ensure robustness, performance, and security of deployed models. The role also involves mentoring junior engineers, contributing to technical best practices, and staying current with emerging AI research and tools to continuously improve the organization’s AI offerings.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Computer Science, with knowledge of algorithms, data structures, and software architecture.
Hands-on experience with Neural Networks and Pattern Recognition, including designing, training, and evaluating deep learning models.
Practical expertise in Natural Language Processing (NLP), such as language models, text classification, information extraction, and conversational AI.
Proficiency in Software Development, using languages and frameworks commonly applied in AI (e.g., Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, RESTful APIs, microservices).
Relevant experience in building and deploying AI/ML solutions at scale on cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and working with MLOps practices.
Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI/ML, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Ability to work collaboratively in a diverse, cross-functional team environment and mentor less experienced engineers.
