Tanvi Pagare Atelier is a growing, independent spatial design practice based in Mumbai. Established in 2026, we focus on thoughtful, detail-driven architecture, interiors, bespoke furniture, and material-led design, with a strong appreciation for craftsmanship and spatial experiences.
About the Role
We are looking for a proactive, highly organized Interior Designer to join our growing team and work closely with the Principal Designer across multiple residential projects.
This is a hands-on opportunity to bring spaces to life, from design development and technical detailing to FF&E sourcing, site execution, final styling, and photography.

Key Responsibilities
Project Coordination: Independently manage day-to-day activities, timelines, and deliverables, maintaining a comprehensive understanding of project drawings, specifications, approvals, site progress, and outstanding requirements, and providing proactive updates to the Principal Designer.
Design & Documentation: Prepare and review technical drawings, furniture and joinery details, ensuring accuracy and alignment with the approved design intent.
Site Execution & Quality Control: Conduct site visits, verify site conditions and measurements, coordinate contractors and vendors, and ensure workmanship, detailing and execution meet the studio's quality standards.
FF&E & Procurement: Coordinate furniture, lighting, materials, and accessories sourcing, selections, procurement, order tracking, deliveries, and installations.
Team & Organization: Coordinate with the design intern, review deliverables, and maintain clear project records, schedules, and trackers.
Styling & Completion: Oversee final installations, furniture placement, styling, snagging and preparation of completed spaces for professional photography and handover.
What We're Looking For
Minimum 2 years of professional residential interior design experience, with demonstrated hands-on site execution experience.
Strong AutoCAD proficiency and a sound understanding of technical detailing, materials, construction, and joinery.
Experience independently coordinating vendors, contractors and multiple project timelines.
A genuine interest in FF&E, styling, materials and the finishing details that bring a space together.
An excellent eye for design, craftsmanship and quality, with exceptional organizational skills and attention to accuracy.
A proactive, resourceful and accountable approach, with strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
Based in Mumbai, with full-time availability during studio hours and flexibility for site and sourcing visits across South Mumbai and Bandra, as required.
Contract & Opportunity
This is a full-time, fixed-term position, with the possibility of extension based on performance and project requirements. We are looking for someone who can provide consistent support through project completion and handover.
