We are seeking a Playwright QA Automation Engineer to drive quality assurance initiatives through test automation. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Playwright, strong programming skills, and expertise in building scalable automation frameworks. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure application quality, reliability, and performance throughout the software development lifecycle.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in QA Automation Testing.
Hands-on experience with Playwright and TypeScript/JavaScript (preferred) or Java.
Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and automation best practices.
Experience with REST API testing and tools such as Postman.
Familiarity with Git, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or similar CI/CD tools.
Knowledge of Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using Playwright.
Design and implement scalable test automation frameworks and reusable components.
Perform functional, regression, smoke, integration, and end-to-end testing.
Execute cross-browser testing across Chromium, Firefox, and WebKit.
Validate APIs and backend integrations.
Analyze test results, identify defects, and work with development teams for resolution.
Integrate automated test suites with CI/CD pipelines.
Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to test planning and estimation.
Prepare test reports and provide quality metrics to stakeholders.
