Golf Course Seasonal Positions
Nephi is seeking reliable and hardworking individuals for seasonal positions at Canyon Hills Golf Course. These posiitons include GROUND MAINTENANCE and PRO SHOP STAFF.
Qualifications
Customer service: friendly, welcoming demeanor and excellent communication skills
Ability to perform physical labor and work outdoors for extended periods
Dependable, punctual, and able to follow instructions
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Basic understanding of golf is helpful but not required
Miscellaneous Information
GROUNDS MAINTENANCE: Responsible for performing tasks associated with the daily maintenance of the golf course, associated grounds and project implementation.
Bunker maintenance
Golf course set up: cup cutting, tee cleanup, divot filling and ball marks
Operate mowing equipment: greens, tees, fairways and rough
Complies with golf course etiquette rules, uphold and maintain course expectations
This position reports to the course superintendent PRO SHOP STAFF: Responsible for performing tasks associated with assisting golfers. Typical duties include, but are not limited to:
Customer service and check-in, POS and handling cash
Tee time and pace management
Cart operations, clean, stage and have carts ready for play
Range Balls; pick and clean
Facility maintenance: Pro shop, restrooms, cart barn and surrounding areas
This position reports to the Office Manager
