Senior Quality Engineer / Assistant Quality Manager

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Rudrapur for a Senior Quality Engineer / Assistant Quality Manager. The role involves leading quality assurance activities on the shop floor, including monitoring production processes, conducting inspections, and ensuring compliance with customer and regulatory requirements. The individual will develop, implement, and maintain quality systems and documentation, such as control plans, work instructions, and audit reports. Day-to-day responsibilities include root cause analysis, corrective and preventive actions, coordination with cross-functional teams, and direct interaction with clients on quality matters. The role also includes mentoring quality team members, supporting continuous improvement initiatives, and contributing to strategic quality planning to maintain Radiant’s zero PPM performance.
Qualifications
Strong quality engineering skills, including experience with quality management systems, root cause analysis, corrective and preventive actions, and continuous improvement methodologies.
Hands-on exposure to plastic injection molding, precision components, and process validation in automotive, lighting, or industrial manufacturing environments.
Proficiency in inspection and measurement techniques, use of gauges and instruments, and interpretation of engineering drawings and specifications.
Knowledge of relevant quality standards and tools (such as ISO/TS standards, APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA) and their application in production settings.
Demonstrated ability to lead teams, coordinate with production, engineering, and supply chain, and communicate effectively with global clients.
Bachelor’s degree or diploma in engineering (mechanical, industrial, or related field) or an equivalent technical qualification.
Prior experience in a senior quality engineer or assistant quality manager role, preferably in a Tier-1 or Tier-2 automotive or industrial supplier.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills, with attention to detail and a disciplined, quality-driven work approach.
Comfort working in an on-site manufacturing environment in Rudrapur and collaborating across shifts and departments as required.
