Role Description The Restaurant Server role is a full-time, on-site position located in Kurukshetra. The Restaurant Server is responsible for greeting guests, presenting menus, taking food and beverage orders, and ensuring accurate and timely delivery of items to tables. This role includes setting up and clearing tables, maintaining a clean and organized dining area, and coordinating with kitchen and bar staff to support smooth service. The Restaurant Server answers guest questions about menu items, makes recommendations, handles billing and payment, and responds to special requests or dietary needs. The position also involves following health and safety guidelines, supporting team members during busy periods, and consistently providing courteous, efficient, and professional customer service.
Qualifications
Strong Food Service and Food & Beverage skills, with an understanding of menu items and basic serving standards.
Excellent Customer Service and Communication abilities to interact clearly, courteously, and professionally with guests and team members.
Basic Food Preparation knowledge, including awareness of hygiene, safety, and handling procedures.
Ability to work on-site in Kurukshetra on a full-time schedule, including weekends, holidays, and variable shifts.
Attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to manage multiple tables and tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Previous experience in a restaurant, café, or hotel dining area is preferred but not mandatory.
Ability to stand for extended periods, carry trays safely, and follow health, safety, and cleanliness standards.
Basic numeracy skills for handling bills, payments, and order checks; familiarity with POS systems is an advantage.
