Role Description The Sales and Service Engineer role is a full-time hybrid position based in Hyderabad, with a mix of on-site client visits and some work-from-home flexibility. Day-to-day responsibilities include visiting customer sites to diagnose issues, performing maintenance and repair on equipment, and providing technical support to ensure smooth operation. The role involves coordinating with clients to understand their requirements, recommending suitable equipment or solutions, and supporting sales activities such as demonstrations, proposals, and post-sale follow-up. The Sales and Service Engineer will document service activities, prepare reports, and collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely resolution of technical problems and high levels of customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
Strong troubleshooting and technical support skills to diagnose and resolve equipment and system issues.
Hands-on experience in field service, including on-site visits, installations, and customer interactions.
Maintenance & repair capabilities for mechanical or electrical equipment, with a focus on safety and reliability.
Clear and professional communication skills for interacting with clients, preparing reports, and coordinating with internal teams.
Degree or diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering discipline.
Ability to work in a hybrid setup, manage travel within and around Hyderabad, and adapt to varied field conditions.
Basic understanding of sales processes, customer relationship management, and after-sales service.
Proficiency in using standard office and reporting tools; familiarity with maintenance logs or service management software is an advantage
