Structural Designer -Staad Pro

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Structural Designer – Staad Pro role based in the Pune District. The Structural Designer will develop and review structural designs and models for support systems and related applications using STAAD Pro and CAD tools, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing and interpreting construction and structural drawings, performing structural analysis and steel design calculations, and coordinating with civil and project engineering teams. The role involves collaborating with internal stakeholders and clients to understand project requirements, optimizing designs for safety, cost, and performance, and supporting documentation for approvals and implementation. The Structural Designer will also contribute to continuous improvement of design practices and maintain accurate records of design revisions and calculations.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Structural Engineering and Civil Engineering, with the ability to apply relevant codes and standards to practical design scenarios.
Proficiency in Construction Drawings, including preparing, reading, and interpreting detailed structural and installation drawings.
Hands-on experience with Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools for creating and modifying structural layouts and models.
Knowledge and practical experience in Steel Design, including member sizing, connection design, and stability checks.
Experience with STAAD Pro or similar structural analysis software for modeling, load analysis, and design optimization.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related discipline.
Ability to work on-site in the Pune District, collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, and manage multiple projects and deadlines.
Attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and familiarity with safety, quality, and compliance standards in construction and industrial environments.
