Role Overview
We are seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer (Go/React) with strong production experience in Go, React, and event-streaming technologies to join our engineering team.
Our client, an established Enterprise Software Provider operating at scale across multiple continents, is currently investing heavily in its core AI platform to power the next generation of human-AI interaction. As part of a major platform compliance initiative, including work aligned to federal cloud (FedRAMP) standards, they are expanding the team responsible for building out their core telemetry and entitlement management capabilities.
This is a hands-on delivery role embedded within a core team of seven backend and frontend engineers, operating within a wider engineering group of around 60. You will actively build services, deliver production features across the stack, and support critical platform compliance capabilities. Architecture-only or pure advisory profiles will not fit this role.
Key Responsibilities;
Backend Development: Design and build high-performance backend services for a core telemetry platform using Go, PostgreSQL, and event-streaming technologies (Kafka / Redpanda).
Frontend Engineering: Develop and maintain user-facing features in React supporting entitlement management capabilities and wider user interaction workflows.
Database & Data Layer: Work across relational and document database architectures, designing and optimizing schemas across PostgreSQL and MongoDB.
Compliance & Entitlement Integration: Support backend and frontend delivery for entitlement management capabilities aligned with federal compliance initiatives (FedRAMP).
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with technical leads, product managers, and cross-functional teams across a broader engineering organization of 60+ engineers.
Flexible Delivery: Contribute flexibly across both backend and frontend deliverables, supporting adjacent workstreams within the wider team as operational priorities shift.
Must-Have Qualifications;
Go Engineering: Strong, hands-on backend development experience building production-grade microservices and backend architectures using Go.
Relational Database Design: Extensive experience with PostgreSQL, relational database modeling, query optimization, and schema management.
Event-Streaming Technologies: Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka or similar event-streaming platforms (ability to quickly adapt to Redpanda).
React Experience: Practical frontend engineering experience building and maintaining web applications using React.
Production Systems Delivery: Proven track record delivering production systems at scale with the ability to hit the ground running with minimal onboarding time.
Large-Scale Organization: Comfortable operating, communicating, and delivering effectively within a structured enterprise engineering environment.
Highly Desirable;
Redpanda & Document Stores: Direct hands-on experience using Redpanda for event streaming and MongoDB for non-relational storage.
Identity & Access Management: Familiarity with entitlement management, access control frameworks, RBAC, or identity/authorization domains.
Regulated Frameworks: Prior delivery experience within FedRAMP or similarly regulated federal compliance environments.
