Role Description
The candidate will be responsible for end-to-end Packaging Material operations, including supplier coordination, timely procurement, MIS, PO management, and maintaining appropriate stock levels.
The role will also involve coordination with Purchase, Quality, Production, and Stores teams to ensure packaging materials meet the required quality standards, specifications, and delivery timelines.
Considering the scaling scope of operations, these additional resources will help strengthen ownership, improve material availability, and ensure effective coordination across functions.
Qualifications
Demonstrated experience in packaging operations, production management, or manufacturing supervision within FMCG, beverages, or a related industry.
Knowledge of packaging machinery, line setup, basic maintenance, and safety protocols, with the ability to troubleshoot common operational issues.
Understanding of quality assurance, food safety standards, and regulatory compliance relevant to beverage or food packaging.
Strong organizational, planning, and time-management skills to coordinate multiple packaging lines and shift activities.
Leadership and people-management skills, including coaching, performance monitoring, and fostering a safe, inclusive work environment.
Proficiency in using production reporting tools or ERP systems, and in maintaining accurate operational records.
Ability to analyze data, identify process bottlenecks, and implement continuous improvement and cost-optimization initiatives.
Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams such as quality, logistics, procurement, and maintenance.
Relevant educational background, such as a diploma or degree in engineering, packaging technology, industrial production, or a related field.
Willingness to work on-site in New Delhi and to be present during peak production hours or shift patterns as required.
