Role Description The Senior Civil Engineer will work on-site in India in a full-time capacity, leading the planning, design, and execution of civil engineering works for residential, commercial, and infrastructure projects. Responsibilities include preparing and reviewing structural and infrastructure designs, coordinating with architects, consultants, and contractors, and ensuring compliance with local codes, safety standards, and project specifications. The role involves managing site inspections, monitoring construction progress, resolving technical issues, and optimizing designs for cost, quality, and sustainability. The Senior Civil Engineer will also support stormwater management planning, prepare technical reports and documentation, and mentor junior engineers and site teams.
Qualifications
Strong expertise in Civil Engineering Design and Civil Engineering fundamentals, with the ability to apply standards and codes to practical project situations.
Experience leading and collaborating with Civil Engineers and multidisciplinary project teams across design and construction phases.
Proficiency in project Planning, including scheduling, resource allocation, and coordination of site activities.
Knowledge of Stormwater Management, drainage systems, and related infrastructure design and implementation.
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution.
Relevant professional experience in building, infrastructure, or real estate projects within India.
Ability to interpret engineering drawings, use design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, STAAD, or similar), and prepare clear technical documentation.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with attention to detail and safety.
Effective communication skills and the ability to coordinate with stakeholders, contractors, and regulatory authorities.
