About Antropi Robotics
Antropi Robotics is a Y Combinator-backed robotics startup (YC F26) building autonomous manufacturing systems for CNC factories. We combine industrial robotics, computer vision, CNC automation, and AI-powered factory software to make manufacturing more autonomous.
We are looking for a hands-on Electronics & Control Systems Intern who enjoys working at the intersection of electronics, embedded systems, and robotics. You will design and integrate electronic systems, interface sensors and actuators, develop control solutions, and test your work on real factory-floor systems.
What You’ll Do
Electronics & Circuit Design: Design, assemble, and test electronic circuits and control systems for robotic platforms.
Embedded Systems: Work with microcontrollers and embedded hardware to develop and integrate control solutions.
Hardware Integration: Interface sensors, actuators, motors, encoders, motor drivers, PLCs, and industrial hardware.
Industrial Communication: Implement and troubleshoot communication interfaces between controllers, sensors, and machines.
Debugging & Validation: Diagnose electrical, wiring, and control issues using lab equipment and systematic testing.
System Integration: Collaborate with mechanical and software engineers on system bring-up, hardware validation, and factory-floor testing.
What We’re Looking For
Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Robotics, or a related field, with expected graduation in 2027.
Strong understanding of analog and digital electronics, circuit fundamentals, and electrical systems.
Hands-on experience with microcontrollers such as STM32, ESP32, or Arduino and embedded systems.
Familiarity with electrical schematics, circuit debugging, and PCB design.
Comfortable using laboratory equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and bench power supplies.
Ability to troubleshoot hardware systematically and iterate quickly on practical engineering problems.
Preferred Experience
Hands-on Hardware: Experience building, wiring, testing, or debugging robots, embedded devices, or electromechanical systems.
Motors & Control Systems: Familiarity with motors, motor drivers, encoders, actuators, and feedback control systems.
Industrial Communication: Knowledge of CAN, RS-485, Modbus, SPI, I²C, UART, or Ethernet-based communication protocols.
PCB Design: Experience designing or modifying PCBs using tools such as KiCad or Altium.
Robotics & Automation: Experience integrating industrial sensors, PLCs, controllers, or automation hardware.
Student Engineering Teams: Experience working in robotics clubs, Formula Student, BAJA SAE, rocketry teams, or other student engineering project teams.
Personal Projects: Experience building embedded systems, robotics prototypes, or electronics projects, or participating in hardware hackathons.
Why Join Antropi Robotics?
Build Real Robotics Systems: Work on robotics and CNC automation systems deployed in active factory environments.
Own End-to-End Projects: Take electronics and control systems from circuit design and prototyping to integration, testing, and deployment.
Work Directly with Founders: Collaborate closely with the founding team and contribute to important engineering decisions.
Learn Across Disciplines: Work alongside mechanical and software engineers to solve real-world robotics challenges.
Make a Tangible Impact: See your electronics and control solutions operate on real machines, beyond lab experiments and simulations.
If you enjoy building circuits, debugging hardware, working with embedded systems, and bringing robots to life, we’d love to hear from you.
