Role Description: The Research Fellow / Subject-Matter Expert will work remotely as a contract member of the Alliance, contributing original research and deep subject-matter expertise in their discipline.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct original research and literature review within the relevant discipline.
Author white papers, research briefs, and evidence-based academic content
Design and validate research frameworks, methodologies, and data-driven analyses
Review and critique existing content and curricula for academic rigor and accuracy
Collaborate with other Alliance members on cross-disciplinary research initiatives
Contribute findings toward thought leadership publications and academic discourse
Stay current with evolving research, scholarship, and developments within the subject area
Present research findings through webinars, workshops, or internal academic reviews
Qualifications: Strong research background in one or more relevant disciplines (STEM, social sciences, humanities, business), with a track record of original research or publications
Demonstrated experience in academic research, analysis, or scholarly writing, with the ability to translate complex findings into clear, structured content
Proficiency in research methodology, data analysis, and evidence-based content development
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with strong skills in academic writing and research presentation
Comfort with digital research tools, reference management, and virtual collaboration platforms
A master's or doctoral degree in a relevant field is strongly preferred; a demonstrated research or publication record is a significant advantage.e
Prior exposure to peer-reviewed research, academic journals, think tanks, or research-driven consulting is highly beneficial
A commitment to intellectual rigor, ethical research practices, and fostering determination, authenticity, and social responsibility
